Black Label Vinyl Records– Frequently Asked Questions
What is Black Label Vinyl?
Black Label Vinyl Records creates custom, one-of-one vinyl records lathe-cut in real time from your uploaded audio. Each record is professionally mastered for vinyl, cut on real 180-gram vinyl, and finished with premium packaging designed for collectors, gifts, and archival keepsakes.
These are real vinyl records, lathe-cut individually, not mass-pressed.
Lathe cutting allows us to create true one-of-one records directly from your audio without stampers or molds — the same method used for audiophile customs and short-run releases.
We accept the following audio formats:
- WAV (preferred for best quality)
- M4A
- MP3 (320 kbps recommended)
For optimal results, we recommend high-quality, uncompressed or high-bitrate files.
The following audio formats are not accepted at this time:
- AIFF
