At Black Label Vinyl, every record is custom-made to order using customer-submitted audio and artwork. Because each product is personalized and produced specifically for the customer, all sales are subject to the policy outlined below.
Please review this policy carefully before placing your order.
Custom & Personalized Orders
All Black Label Vinyl records are custom products, including but not limited to:

Customer-uploaded audio files
-
Customer-uploaded images or artwork
-
Selected vinyl color, edition, or design style
Due to the personalized nature of these products, all sales are final once production begins.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:

Change of mind
-
Incorrect audio or artwork uploaded by the customer

Design, color, or edition preferences after order submission

Audio quality issues caused by the original uploaded files
-
Normal vinyl characteristics that do not affect playback (including minor surface marks or light noise, especially on colored or custom vinyl)
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled only before production begins.
Once any part of the production process has started — including but not limited to audio mastering, lathe cutting, or artwork preparation — the order cannot be canceled, refunded, or modified.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your record arrives damaged or defective, we will make it right.
Please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and include:

Your order number

A description of the issue

Clear photo and/or video proof showing the damage or defect
If the issue is confirmed to be a production or shipping error, we will provide a replacement record at no additional cost.
Refunds are issued only if a replacement cannot be produced or does not resolve the issue.
Shipping Responsibility
All orders are packaged securely and shipped with care.
Damage claims must be submitted within 72 hours of delivery. Claims submitted outside this window may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
If a shipment is marked “Delivered” by the carrier but is lost or stolen afterward, the customer is responsible. We strongly recommend shipping to a secure location and monitoring tracking information closely.
Audio, Artwork & Copyright Responsibility
By placing an order, the customer confirms that:

They own or have legal rights to all uploaded audio and artwork

All submitted files are final and approved for production

Uploaded content does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights
Black Label Vinyl is not responsible for copyright violations resulting from customer-submitted materials.
Playback Expectations
Each record is professionally mastered for vinyl and lathe-cut in real time. Playback quality may vary depending on:

Turntable setup and calibration
-
Stylus condition
-
Speaker system
Minor surface noise — particularly on custom or colored vinyl — is normal and not considered a defect.
